These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of the mobile applications and services provided by James Godwin operating as True Essence Tech, including AIChing, GratefulFor, Taoist Breath, Harmonic Echo, and our website at trueessense.tech (collectively, the "Services").

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services. These Terms apply to all users of our Services, regardless of location.

2. Description of Services

True Essence Tech provides digital applications designed as mindful technology tools:

• AIChing: A modern approach to the ancient I Ching (Book of Changes), offering wisdom and reflection for daily life.

• GratefulFor: A gratitude practice app that allows users to record and share appreciation in a global community.

• Taoist Breath: A breath-work application rooted in Taoist principles for mindfulness and presence.

• Harmonic Echo: A sound-based meditation app that creates visual representations of vocal tones.

All Services are provided free of charge. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any Service at any time with reasonable notice.

3. User Accounts and Registration

3.1. Account Creation

Some Services (specifically GratefulFor) require account registration. When creating an account, you must provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

3.2. Account Responsibility

You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account or any security breach. We will not be liable for any losses caused by unauthorized use of your account.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the Services immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

If you wish to terminate your account, you may discontinue using the Services. For GratefulFor users, you may also contact us to request account deletion.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be interpreted and governed by the laws of South Africa, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.

For users located in the European Union, nothing in these Terms affects your rights as a consumer under EU law.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our Services after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding our Services and supersede and replace any prior agreements.
